Speak with Tomo outside the Stonewake's Cross cave to learn his cat slipped into the Goblin Cave. Finish the Goblin King quest to unlock the cave, then head behind the waterfall tunnel to reach the hidden spot where the cat hides. Return the cat to Tomo to collect the CatLover title plus cash and XP.
Isaac, sitting near the Ruined Cave camp, admits he's hurting once you ask if he is okay. Buy the correct Health Potion from Stonewake's Cross for $150, teleport back, and hand it over—give the wrong one and he refuses it. Delivering the right potion removes his bandages and grants a big XP payout for a tiny cost.
Find Skal deep in the Volcanic Depths to start the Demonite Key quest. He needs three Demonite Ores, only obtainable from Volcanic Rocks at a 1/3666 drop rate, so bring 100+ Mining Power, luck potions, and aim for the Dwarf race. Turn in the ores to receive the Demonite Key, which opens the Demonic Door so you can claim the Demonite Pickaxe.
Reach the small island behind the Forgotten Kingdom spawn to meet Monke. He asks specifically for 30 Bananite ores—bring the stack back to trade for 10,000 cash, 5,000 XP, and the Monkey Business badge.
Moro walks you through the opening sequence: talk to him for a Stone Pickaxe, equip it, mine six pebbles, forge two weapons, equip one and sell the other to Marbles. Buy a Bronze Pickaxe, mine ten ores, and slay a zombie; then forge two armor pieces. Next buy an Iron Pickaxe, defeat three zombies, mine 35 ores, and forge three light pieces. Report back to Moro for essences, enhance one gear piece three times, apply a rune with the Runemaker, speak to Moro again, then visit the Wizard Tower to receive a portal and continue the story.
Meet the Bard by the Stonewake's Cross campfire near Maria's Potion Shop. He sends you to a secret section of the cave to recover his guitar; completing it also opens the path toward the Fallen Angel's Cave and the Arcane Pickaxe. Bring the guitar back to receive the Unknown Key and the Guitar Finder badge.
